What to know before receiving psychological services online.
Services are delivered online
Every Northlight service, from the first consultation to the feedback meeting, is delivered by secure video. There is no office to visit.
Remote testing
Each test is administered under its publisher’s approved remote protocol. Some measures have limits when given remotely, and Dr. Alemu will explain any that apply to your evaluation.
Your setup
You will need a computer with a webcam, reliable internet, and a quiet room. For children, a parent should be available at the start of each session.
Emergencies
Northlight Assessment does not provide emergency services. If you or your child are in crisis, call or text 988 or go to your nearest emergency room.
Signed consent
The full telehealth consent is signed inside the secure client portal before your first session.
